My boys are one month old today! YAY!
My two breech boys putting their heads together.
Since my boys were not cooperating, I had a scheduled c-section on March 6th at Good Samaritan hospital in San Jose.
Reece Phillip Murdock
7 pounds 5oz
&
Liam Thomas Murdock
5 pounds 15oz (one oz under 6 pounds)
There was some mix up over hight but we think Reece was 20 inches and Liam was 17.5.
Reece had a little bit of a rough start with breathing which sometimes happens with a c-section, so he spent the first 24 hours in the NICU. He ended up being totally fine and his brother was very happy to have him back.
Nap time!
Liam had some jaundice so he got to be hooked up to this fun UV blanket that made him look like a glowworm or something from the Matrix. He thought he was pretty cool.
Liam getting dressed to go home from the hospital.
Reece and Daddy. Ryan is such a good and cute dad! Both babies so far have been pretty good. They fuss a bit, which sounds like two little goats, but they don't really cry much. The only thing they really cry over is getting a diaper changed–unfortunately we change between 16 and 20 diapers a day. I feel like I am constantly ordering diapers and wipes from Amazon but when they are cuddly like this it sure makes it worth it.
Grandma Melanie gave the boys their first bath. Reece went first. He was a little unsure...
but in the end they both liked relaxing in the sink.
Now little Liam's turn...
All clean!
Some brotherly fighting after their bath.
Reece is on the right. Liam is on the left. Liam really isn't that much shorter... He likes to scrunch his legs up like a little frog.
They both had a hard time staying awake during my photo session.
Reece with sleepy eyes.
He likes to suck his hands. He is also my boy who loves to eat.
Liam with even sleepier eyes.
I am kind of in love with both of their little toes. Their toes look so different from each other.
