Ventura!

I went to visit my parents in Ventura last week. I spent a few days playing with my parents and visiting my grandma Mimi. This is the cute house I grew up in. People always called it the leave it to beaver house.

My mom turned my old bedroom into a guest room and used some of my work to decorate the walls. I thought it turned out pretty cute.

At Christmas time I had made my parents a book called "I am Thankful for You" and I forgot to take pictures of it before I gave it to them. I am going to teach a class in August on how to make the book so I thought I should take a few pictures as examples of what you can do.

After I left Ventura I then when down to San Diego for a few days and hung out with my sisters Adrienne and Kim and their kids. We went shopping, had lots of good meals out, played at the park lots, and I got to see my two four year old nephews skateboard which was pretty impressive. All in all it was a great trip.

What adorable little skate boarders!

Love your book! Is the cover patterned paper, or did you stamp it?

Such cute California boys! Are you sure you didn't major in graphic design? That book is so well designed. Great job. I love it. The bedroom is so pretty! Great art and perfect bed. That Melanie can put things together. I totally want that room!

I also love your art in Mom's guest room and totally want to steal it. I especially love the yellow/orange one in the middle. You are so talented!
